A hydraulic breaker or hammer turns the machine into a demolition tool for concrete, limestone caprock, granite and old footings. Rippa breakers are sized to each model's hydraulic flow, from the R10/R13/R15 breaker to the R32 hammer and the skid steer rock breakers.
How to choose
- Buy the breaker sized for your model; an oversized breaker starves and an undersized one bounces
- Chisel, moil and blunt tools for different materials
- Single-acting circuit with a return line to tank
Tip
Work from a free edge inward and keep the tool moving; hammering one spot builds heat and does little.
